Steam Cleaner vs Vacuum Cleaner

The most affordable and effective way to clean carpets in an office or home is considered to be using a steam cleaner.

Heated water is used with the steam cleaner when cleaning hardwood floors and carpets. The water is heated to temperatures up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit which produces a steam vapor that provides an effective cleaning.

The heated steam vapor breaks down the bond holding the dirt and stains that may be sticking to the surface of the flooring or carpets.

Some of the chemicals can be harmful to humans. Being exposed constantly to these chemicals can damage your lungs, body and possibly your brain.

Using steam cleaners removes the need to use chemicals because it uses the heat to remove the germs and bacteria and prevents the germs or viruses from developing on the surfaces.

Another advantage is that the steam cleaners do not leave a chemical smell which can cause respiratory problems.

The end result when using a steam cleaner is you will have a bacteria free, clean home that is safe for you and your family.

Steam Cleaner Considerations
1. Pre-spray may be required before you clean an area to provide a more effective result. Even though there are many advantages to using a steam cleaner, it does not produce miracle results. Pre-spray may be needed before cleaning an area in order to make to completely effective.

2. Heating can be dangerous and takes time. Heating the water to the correct temperature may take some time depending on the model you have. Once the temperature is reached, you must be careful to not let steam reach your skin directly when cleaning carpets as it can cause serious injury.
